Comment: Sony, why so exclusive? I'm just gonna help the other reviewer named Ricardo, and say that the MusicPower one does the same as this, and it's SOOOO MUCH cheaper... Plus, it also works for other kinds of mp3 players, which makes it 10000000 times better. So go ahead and get that one.

Comment: We grew tired of having to have the computer on in order to charge our Sony Walkmen. This accessory will allow you to use the Walkman while plugged into an outlet and will also charge it for you without the computer. We've been using it for a month and are pleased with it's performance.

Comment: It works just fine. Important to have if you want to charge the walkman without a computer. The only "short" fall is that the cable is very short, so when you plug it in the walman is either not supported or on the floor. Not significant. I also like the compactness of the charger, not taking up too much room in your suitcase, purse or briefcase.
