When your batteries run out of juice, don't you wish you had some batteries around for the meantime until you can go out and buy your favorite brand? Universal batteries can be tucked away in your drawer for when you really need them. Who wants to go out in the rain and when it is cold just to get some batteries.
It's better to play it safe and stay home and have some Universal Batteries ready in your kitchen or bedroom drawer.
I do not know how long they will last because I have not tried them yet, but I will update here when the batteries are used up.

Comment: Good but feel the Dates that other National brands use would be helpful. For the total cost your savings is minimal. Still a better Deal if you need smaller packaging of batteries, also better controls the quanties you want to buy.

Comment: These batteries are so poor, the milk frother I bought at the same time wouldn't even foam milk when I used them. After I changed batteries, the frother worked fine. I would return them, but it's not worth it.
Don't waste money on these batteries. Buy good ones.

Comment: To the reviewer that gave 1 star. These are heavy duty batteries, not alkaline batteries. These batteries are not made for high drain devices like a camera or mp3 player. They are made for low drain devices such as clocks, radios, or remote controls. They work great if used right.
