Summary: worth the price, no question
Comment: This headset has good range, good sound quality, and is easy to use. I strongly recommend purchasing the handset lifter along with it. The glue on the handset lifter does tend to dry out a little--some doublestick tape will solve the problem. Best thing in my office.

Summary: Works well, but requires a desktop phone to function
Comment: I have gone through at least 5 headset in the last year. I talk on my phone nearly 5 hours per day and they typically just stop working. This one, however is built extremely well and is durable enough for my 12 month old daughter to chew on it without causing any issues whatsoever.
Overall, it works very well. Very clear for both parties on the phone. Although, I am not getting anywhere near the distance that other people are talking about. I might get 50 feet through two brick walls before I lose reception. My handheld Panasonic cordless phones with DECT 6.0 technology easily reach 4 times the distance...I can actually walk around the block with those. This headset is limited to my yard. Also, I REALLY wish they would have created this system in a way that it could be used without a desktop phone base unit. I think it would be much better if it were simply a phone that could plug directly into a wall jack; just like a regular phone, but without any numbers on it. I had to go dig up an old desktop phone to make this system work. I can see how it would be useful for people working in a cubicle farm where desktop phones are still the status quo, but for small business owners, it just isn't very condusive.

Summary: Great headset
Comment: I've had the CS-55 for about a month now and, overall, it's been great. I've tried other headsets and been disappointed but now I wouldn't go without one. Sound quality is very good and callers report that they can hear me clearly too.
My only complaint (and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars) is that the ear clip was uncomfortable for both me and an employee I bought the same unit for. I'm using the headband and it works fine but I'd prefer an ear clip if it was comfortable.

Comment: This is the second version of this I have owned and I have one at work and two at home. Great range and reception, really great hand free and the other party can hear you clear as a bell. They are a bit pricey but are clearly the best headsets on the market.

Summary: Excellent Home Office Headset
Comment: I had this headset when at my desk at work, and missed it dearly when I began to work from home. I tried many other headsets and speakerphones, but nothing could compare to this headset. People on the other end can hear me clearly, I can hear them clearly and most importantly it's comfortable for long periods.
The wireless range is excellent and I can walk around my entire condo with no interference. This is quite a feat as the construction of my place severally hinders any other wireless devices I have, including cell phones.
The only down side to this product is that it's not nearly as effective without the handset lift. Without the lift you have to both activate the headset and lift the handset on your phone. The handset life allows you to answer, and hang up, the phone with only the headset; and best of all you can do so remotely.
