Summary: Great Headset
Comment: The battery in my HS850 is finally done after 2 years. The H375 is sold everywhere for cheap. So, I give it a try.

The H375 is as good as the HS850 but smaller. The H375 connects to my phone much faster than the HS850. The sound is as good as the HS850 and louder.

The 375 fits my ear pretty good. It is very light in weight. The buttons are difficult to press at first; but I finally get the hand of it.

I think the 375 is the low cost model. It doesn't have the conference call function or the call waiting function. This is not a big deal. I can just flip through the buttons in my phone to make conference call.

The 375 has a very long range. This is not good for me. I leave the 375 in my car in the parking lot and go to my office couple floors up to the building. Many times when I pick up or make a call, I can't hear anything. I first think there may be poor reception. But it turns out that the call is being picked up by the 375 in my car down in the parking lot.

Another problem I can think of is when I press a button, the 375 makes a beep. The beep is way way too loud. I can lower the volume but it lower the voice at the same time. So, this is not that good.

Overall, the H375 is a very good headset.

Summary: Pleased - now that I have it figured out!
Comment: This is my first bluetooth headset. The first time I tried it I was driving so I wasn't familiar with the controls. I was a little frustrated with it. When I sat down with it in the comfort of my living room and made and answered calls I realized that it's much less confusing that I originally thought. Its call clarity is excellent - both incoming and outgoing. I am buying 2 more of these for my kids!

Summary: Okay First Bluetooth Headset
Comment: I've had the Motorola H375 since March of 2008 and after 11 months of use I'd have to rate this as an okay first headset, especially at it's current price point.

The primary reason for my purchase of this headset was to keep from getting the front of my Motorola Q9c from getting dirty and to enable me to talk hands free. In that it does it's job.

Pros:
Pretty cheap.

Mini-USB charger that happens to work with both by Q9c and Zen MP3 player which means I got a travel charger and headset for the same price.

Decent range in that I can leave my phone on my desk and walk around most of my apartment and keep talking.

Excellent battery life! I can go a week between chargings while talking at least an hour or two per day.

Cons:

Not the most comfortable headset.

Mediocre volume and sound quality.

Rubber ear pieces will fall off and disappear after a month or two and this makes the headset rather uncomfortable.

This was my first bluetooth headset as I had never been sure of whether one would be worth it or not over a wired headset. If you've never used one before then this is a great "beginner" set as it will help you determine if bluetooth is something you want to use but after a while you will realize that you probably want something that is more comfortable, durable (ie not loosing ear pieces), and has better sound quality. If you're only after something that you will only use sporadically then this is a perfect match for you.

The fact that it offers the same Motorola travel mini-USB charger that the company sells for almost $20 can make this an excellent purchase decision and it has come in handy for me on more than one occasion as I mentioned earlier that both my phone and MP3 player use the same charging connection.

Summary: Newer isn't always better
Comment: I have been hunting for a good headset for weeks and have tried several, including Samsung, Plantronics, and Motorola. I kept stumbling over rave reviews for the Motorola H375, but it is an older headset, a bit bigger than the current models, and I was certain that the newer models would be improvements over the older technology. Reasonable assumption, right? I was wrong. I ordered the H690 (from another online retailer) because it was brand new, though I could only find one review by an actual user....it's THAT new. But I also ordered the H375 from Amazon. They both arrived today, and I spent the day putting them both through their paces with my Blackberry Curve in the situations in which I will typically be using my Blackberry and headset: driving my car approximately 45 miles to medical appointments, shopping, visiting my daughter, etc. and at home, where I need to be able to leave the Blackberry on a counter and be wherever I need to be in the house throughout the day.

Guess what. The H690 sucked in direct comparison with the H375. Using the H375, I left my Blackberry on my daughter's dining room table and walked upstairs, talking on my headset the whole time with no static, no disconnect, and perfect sound quality on both ends. When I got home, I left my Blackberry in my kitchen and walked all over my house AND out on the back patio, shut the door, and was able to use voice dialing on the headset to make a call, which again had flawless clarity and no static.

The H690, on the other hand, failed miserably. When just a few feet from the Blackberry, if I so much as turned my head or put my hand between the H690 and the Blackberry, there was loud static and the person on the other end of the call said I couldn't be understood. Considering the price of the H690, I expected much better results, so it's on its way back and I'm keeping the H375, which is actually heartbreaking, as the H690 is MUCH more comfortable to wear with its smaller earpiece. On the other hand, the H375 comes with the added bonus of using the same charger as my Blackberry, so I can actually charge it in the car if need be, while the H690 uses the new tinier USB connection. A little thing, but still nice. And Amazon's prices are just icing on the cake.

Summary: Almost perfect
Comment: This is a nice product. Has a clear signal and great compatibility. However it has two problems, one it is not very resistant to wind, this means when moderate wind blows towards me, pleople says they hear lots of noise. Number two, the buttons can fail and you no longer hear them clicking but still work correctly.

Buy it! It is worth the price!
