Summary: Great for it's intended purpose
Comment: I have been using this product for three years to show media from my 5th generation ipod in classrooms and other venues through the VCR connection. It is very sturdy and does the job well. It's not a bad idea to read the specs before investing the princely sum of $3.99.

Comment: I should've read the reviews first. Unfortunately I was tricked in the same way. This does NOT work with the iPhone's recessed port and apparently shaving it down or using an adapter doesn't help any. Don't buy this product unless you want a cable for the IPOD instead.

Comment: This is not compatible with the iPhone. This retailer just assumed that since it worked with the iPod it would also work for the iPhone. I've returned this product and advised them to change the description.
