Customer Rating: Summary: not for novices Comment: This book was a crashing disappointment for a novice. Just think of some very simple operations one would perform with iPHOTO. Then look in the index and try to find them. You will find few of them. When you do find one, and go to the indicated page, the explanation will assume that you already know so much about the subject that you needn't have purchased this book. When will they learn to hire competent writers to review computer books prior to publication? And when will they learn to test these books by handing copies to novices and observe them trying to find critical information and put it to use on the iMAC?
Customer Rating: Summary: iphoto8 Manual Comment: The text in this manual is helpful, but the quality of the photos used to demonstrate the tips leaves something to be desired. It is difficult to distinguish the differences.
Customer Rating: Summary: A book that should be included with the product Comment: Having purchased iPhoto and discovering that it came with very limited instructions I did a little research into what was available. Adam Engst's iPhoto '08 appeared to be what I required, Visual, Easy and in colour. It is working for me, well laid out, easy to follow and understand. A very good reference point, would not be without it.
Customer Rating: Summary: iPHOTO '08 Comment: Excellent overview of the latest iPHOTO program. This has been very helpful to this point in making good use of the application.
