The Pulsar 590 has quick, immediate wireless compatibility with devices such as laptops, home stereos, MP3 players, Apple iPods, Sony PSP and anything else with headphone jacks. Also available with a universal Bluetooth audio adapter. The headset has communication for use with mobile phones and other voice-enabled devices using a telescopic voice tube and omni-directional microphone for clear voice communications. Listen to music or have conversations up to 33 feet away from laptops, music devices or cell phones. Stay in touch and in tune for up to 12 hours of talk time and 10 hours of listen time. The Pulsar 590 is also comfortable with a familiar headband wearing style with pivoting ear cushions that provide comfort from all-day wearing. The foldable design features compact charging, travel storage and full range accessories such as the in-flight cable to be used with Bluetooth radio disabled which is required by most airline travel.

Customer Rating: Summary: Has problems. Comment: The headphones & wireless operation work well for what I do with my iPod, which is essentially listening to Podcasts. The weak link in the chain is with the transmitter that plugs into the headphone jack of the iPod and sends the signal to the headphones. Presumably, trying to make the on/off switch on the transmitter "pretty," they have designed it as a plastic circle that you have to twist to turn on and off (turning it off so you don't have to charge it all the time), the problem is that it is hard to turn, sometimes I can't turn it off or on. A simple switch on the side would have prevented all these issues, but alas we are stuck with this poor design (in the transmitter) of what is otherwise a great, functional product.
