Summary: Exactly what I hoped it would be
Comment: I don't understand why others are bashing this case. If you know your way around Windows Mobile you can perform nearly all of the phone's functions without opening the case (as others claim). I wanted something thin and light to provide excellent physical protection to my Sprint Mogul and that is exactly what this does. The price was great, the build quality feels thin and a little unsubstantial, but if it were thicker and heavier it would never fit in my pocket. All of the necessary features; power, camera/flash, D-Pad, jog-wheel, stylus, and soft buttons remain operable (though recessed) while closed. The only things you cannot access are the touch screen and slide out keypad (until you open the hinged cover. Be aware that this provides very little in the way of dirt and dust contamination, as all of the buttons are accessed via cut-outs, but the LCD screen is very well protected a couple of milimeters behind a hard plastic window. If you need to use this phone in any enviroment where it is subject to dropping or other physical damage I recommend this case.

Summary: Aluminum kills signal strength
Comment: Start with a full signal and then put it in the case watch you signal bars go down by 2. Also messes with GPS signal. Sucks. Strong case though

Summary: Do NOT purchase! Complete waste of money.
Comment: Received my brand new Sprint Mogul phone only three days ago. Today, while walking it fell out of the case twice within 30 minutes, making a 3 foot fall onto the pavement. Needless to say, the phone is now completely scratched up. Stick with the leather case the phone comes with from the manufacturer -- should it get loose from your belt or whatever, it will *not* fall out because of the magnetic clip, the snug hold that it has on your phone and the all-around coverage that it provides.

Summary: Nice Case
Comment: I kept pressing the touch screen and activating functions by accident while I was pulling out or putting the phone in the OEM stock case. This phone case takes care of that problem. You can't activate the touchscreen as it's covered with a clear hard plastic window. Also over the OEM case, I like how I can see who is calling without removing it from a case. The holes cut out are a perfect match to all of the phone's functions, I can even remove the stylus while in this case and slide open the keyboard if I pop open the top.

Summary: Not for everyone, but for $10 you get your money's worth!
Comment: I just bought one of these for my Qwest Mogul. Having read the other review here and some elsewhere, I knew what I was getting- a hard shell for my Mogul, something that protected the phone very well while not inhibiting functionality *too* much. Like other folks have said, when the case is closed you can't do anything but answer and make calls- no touch screen, just the buttons. Flipping open the case allows you to slide out the keyboard, which is great- a lot of metal cases along these lines for similar devices I've had don't allow you to do that, making you take the whole PDA/phone out to use the sliding keyboard. In a way, I rather like the way the keyboard feels when I open the case up and slide it out- the hinge is on the bottom of the case, and the front of the case sort of rests under my palms as I type, stabalizing it.

The buttons are hard to press with the case on and closed, but for me that's a good thing- the Mogul and my last phone (PPC6700) both turn on randomly, and if sitting in my pocket unprotected or in a cloth case I often did some button mashing, calling someone, etc. No more in-bag button mashing! The green/red phone buttons and d-pad are a pain, but the side buttons are well exposed enough to not be an issue.

My only beef is that the clasp wasn't tight enough, and I've dropped the whole encased Mogul onto a carpeted surface a couple of times only to have the case open, the Mogul pop out, with the back plate and battery also flying out. I used a pliers to bend the clasp in just a little and now it's tight, but not so tight that opening the case up is a pain.

Bottom line: this is a super-cheap case, definately worth the $10. Don't waste your money on the same case sold under different listings for > $20! It might not be your primary or only case, but for folks who like to have their Mogul in a bag, pocket, or on a belt that might get a little knocking around, it's great.
