Comment: It's a nice touch for the escort detector. The only complain is that I can't leave even the wire visible in the car because it's a dead giveaway that you have a high priced descort detector in your car for people to steal.

Comment: I DON'T KNOW IF IT WORKED OR NOT. I RETURNED IT BECAUSE THE MANUFACTURE OF THE RADAR DETECTOR TOLD ME IF I USED IT THEY WOULD VOID THE FACTORY WARRANTY ON THE DETECTOR.
I RETURNED IT AND HAVE NOT RECEIEVED A REFUND AS OF YET.

Comment: If you own an Escort with the mute button on the detector, you should buy one of these adapters now! You can avoid constantly reaching up to mute - and occasionally knocking the detector off the window/visor when pressing the mute botton. Sounds silly but it happens and it's not just a nuisance - it's difficult/dangerous to put it back in place while driving.
