Comment: Having an extra battery is a must with a smart phone. Who wants to be at the middle or end of their day and the battery is low and you cannot recharge. If you have the extra battery you just pop it in and go.

Comment: I am so glad I found my spare battery here, much less expensive that at the stores....Everyone should have a back up battery, seems Blackberries always go through them so fast.

Comment: I had some trouble with this one at first. When I went to charge it I got a red LED and the screen showed a battery with a lightning bolt. It didn't seem to charge. I took some advice form the BB forums which was to just leave it connected to the charger for a little over an hour, pop the battery, put it back in, then continue the charge to completion. This worked although it booted up during the first hour and I had to shut it off. Battery charged and is working fine. Not sure why there seems to be multiple CS-2 choices showing compatibility with different BB versions. According to RIM (I asked) there is only one CS-2 battery. Also their site only shows one CS-2 for a whole string of BBs. BTW...this was for my Curve 8330.

Summary: So Far .. So Good - Very Cost Effective Replacement
Comment: My Blackberry 7100i had started dropping calls and "turning wireless off" without a "Low Battery" warning about a month ago. I returned the device to Sprint only to have the same problem with the new 7100i and realized it was the battery. I had to go out and purchase an OEM battery immediately and paid $60 at a Sprint store. I then ordered this OEM battery from AccessoryOne as a "backup" but have been runnning on it and have had no issues. We're considering ordering these as replacements in the future. It fits perfectly -- the only physical difference is that the edges of the battery are angular rather than rounded like the original battery. Only time will tell whether it will have the same longevity as the original, but so far, so good.
