Customer Rating: Summary: Urbz: Sims in theCity Comment: This game was not as fun as the newer version. It was a lot harder to understand, but it was okay for those that have the time to read cheat codes to find out how to operate the SIMS. I rate this a C-
Customer Rating: Summary: Another Sims game to feed your Sims addiction! Comment: Reviewed for Big Boss Games by: CRR
The first two titles in the series by EA Games are The Sims and The Sims Bustin' Out, but make way for number three, The Urbz: Sims in the city.
In The Urbz, you guide your Sim through life in nine very diverse culturally different districts, where you have to walk the walk and talk the talk. As in its two predecesors, in The Urbz, you have goals to achieve, bills to pay and promotions to obtain. The differences you'll find in this game are in the jobs you work and clothes you buy, which are district specific, and the other Sims you meet and interact with.
Another difference is that you have to build up your reputation. This is achieved by meeting and befriending as many different Sims as you can and learning their specific social interactions. At the start of the game, you must choose what district to start out in. By completing your goals and building your rep, you unlock other districts to visit and work in.
The main goal is to build yourself up to have the highest rep in the city, so that everyone wants to be your friend. This game is fun and simplistic without being too easy. Plus, after you beat it the first time, you can always go back and play as someone different, giving this game replay potential.
On a scale on 1-10, I give this game an 8.5. Sim-fans should not miss out on The Urbz!
Customer Rating: Summary: Awesome game!!! Comment: I LOVE this game!
Being a fan of the sims and the sims 2, I borrowed Urbz from a friend. I fell in-love wih it!!!
I especially love the music!!! (the punk station roxx!)
It has such diversity and selection in cultures. From punk to prep to gangsta, you've got it all in this totally wicked-awsome game!
If you'd like more controllabilty for your sims, then this is the game for you!
And your sim is much more customised!
You work jobs to earn money for peircings, tatoos, hairstlyes, clothing and more!
Plus, you go around town and different districs to buid up your REP!
Yeah, I love this game, and totally recommend it to anyone!
Customer Rating: Summary: I thought it sucked! Comment: This game was not fun, and overpriced (I paid $17.99 for a used copy). I wish I could get my money back.
I'm straight outta the hood, and thought this game was vulgar at best, and not representaive of 29th and Crenshaw, where I stay.
Don't buy this one!
Customer Rating: Summary: Disappointed! Comment: My children found this game quite a disappointment. They claim it was "kinda boring, and not entertaining" in comparison to the other Sims games which they love. They recommend the "Sims Unleashed Expansion Pack" and Sims versions one and two.
