Comment: I bought this to use with our Sony Ericsson W580i. We have a 2.5mm headset we wanted to adapt for the phone.
Not only doesn't this item work at all, (calls won't dial/calls stop) it is extremely hard to get in and out of the phone. I bought two, and one of them broke on the first try.

Comment: I think people must have bought this for the wrong purpose. I bought it to attach to a 2.5 mm headset and it works perfectly.

Comment: this clearly says it is a 2.5mm jack. that means you can only use HEADSETS with it, not headphones. headphones require a 3.5mm jack. still, wish they made a 3.5mm that was set up exactly like this one.
