Summary: BlueAnt helmet interphone
Comment: Purchased two of these kits for my son and I to use next month on a motorcycle trip to Colorado. I have not used mine yet but my son indicates that the sound quality is excellent while riding his motorcycle. I'm looking forward to syncing mine to my cellphone and Garmin GPS. While it is a little premature to rate this product, my initial observation would suggest that it is well made and should make our upcoming trip more enjoyable.

Summary: blue ant serves its purpose
Comment: i purchased two kits so we could talk while riding and with this system it does that decently. one of the charges did not work right out of the box luckily had two. programing wasn't very hard just a little confusing. havent't got the sets to get in the high volume mode so at 60 mph with flip up helmets it is a little hard to hear. the mounting system does secure to the helmet as good as i would like.even with the minor problems it is nice to not be tied down to wires and be able to walk around the bike when getting ready to ride and still talk easily is good.

Comment: This works really well when it works, but I can't wait to throw it out.
I've used it for over a year now, and I had 4 different intercoms before this one. It's by far the best in sound quality and ease of use.
The problem is that you only get to talk for the first few hours of each day. It doesn't seem to help to try to turn it on and off every time you need to speak, (which is difficult to do anyway). With a removable battery so that you could carry extras this device would be really excellent, but as it is, the better it works, the more annoying it is when it suddenly stops working.
The product description says 10 hour battery life. That is just wrong. We have two of these and we charge them all night on our trips. We get about four hours out of them with very conservative intermittent use.
Maybe they are good for answering your phone on the way to work, but they are no good as an all day travel intercom.

Comment: My wife and I have been using the BlueAnt Interphone as a rider/passenger intercom for a few weeks now. We have been pleased with it's performance. Wasn't too hard to get set up. Haven't tried it with my cell phone yet. Would definitely recommend the unit.
