Customer Rating: Summary: Great workout phone Comment: The PMX 70 headphones have been a good fit for me. I am a large man with a 20+ inch neck and proportional head. These head phones stay put during exercise. They will not fall off and rarely need to be repositioned. I don't know how a smaller head would alter fitment, but they do have flex to them so it is possible. Speaking of flex, these headphones are made of a flexible plastic with a rubber coating in key contact areas to aid grip with your head. This plastic is not able to be bent in all directions like a wire coated in rubber as some reviews led me to believe. The plastic has some flex to it but is cast in one shape and will only distort to a given degree before they would snap. That shape will probably work for you unless you have a very atypical head. I have found these headphones to be excellent for mountain biking as they don't pinch the back of my head when looking up like my old Phillips from Wally*World did. As these are not true in ear monitors they do not block out all surrounding noise which is good for biking. The cord is long and very green. The angle of the jack works great with my Sansa Clip with a vinyl cover installed. The jack seems to be well made and holding up fine considering this is what usually fails first. These headphones are really sweat resistant. If I'm really soaked I might have to pull them off and blow the speakers off, but not a single issue with sound quality yet. SQ is above average for workout phones, but the base will not compare to the Sennheiser CX-300s and other in-ear monitors or their ilk. If you are an audiophile then you already know this. They do not have the transfer noise if you bump the cord like in-ears do and that is very important in a workout phone to me. The highs and mids are good. The EQ on my player likes these phones and they sound as good and mostly better than all my other workout phones with 128+ bps source music and have become the only phones I take with me to exercise. These perform exceptionally well for the price. If you are looking for good work out phones and like around the neck designs then look no further. They are making these in an orange now so you have that option.
Customer Rating: Summary: gr8 headphones Comment: i bought this product after a lot of research and believe me, it lived upto my expectations
Customer Rating: Summary: look cool but that's it Comment: I purchased these partly because of the reviews and partly because I thought the colors looked really cool. I could never get them to fit me right-no matter how I tried to adjust them, one side of the earpiece kept falling out. I have problems when taking a walk or vaccuuming. I gave them to my brother to try, he had the same problem. These are useless and frustrating and will be going back.
Customer Rating: Summary: Greaat headphones for working out Comment: I purchased these headphones for use at the gym with my ipod nano. I don't use them for any other purpose than exercise, and for that I find they work great. They stay put while I run and the sound is good. I've noticed that some reviewers call them uncomfortable, and while I've only worn them for 1-1.5 hours at a time, they are comfortable for me. (As a side note, I am a 20 yo female who is a little on the small side. My boyfriend tried them on and found them to be tight, and disliked them due to the pressure on the ears). Overall, I would recommend these to anyone who is tired of having their earphones fall out on the treadmill, and wants decent sound.
Customer Rating: Summary: Best headphones for running! Comment: I use my ipod mainly for running on the treadmill and outside. These Sennheiser PMX 70's are the best headphones I have tried. They stay in your ears perfectly. They are so comfortable I forget that they are even there, even after 30 minutes of running. The sound quality is incredible too. I'm sure an audiophile would have some complaints, but for the average listener, the sound is perfect. I tend to sweat alot when running, but it does not get in my ears with these headphones on. Some previous ones that I owned, I had to constantly remove the headphones and dry out my ears with a towel. When I opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that these headphones are water resistant and can even be rinsed under the tap to wash them off. I have no complaints and would highly recommend them.
