The Cardo S-800 is one of the most feature-rich and advanced headsets available on the market. Its ultra-small size and iconic shape incorporate sophisticated technology, designed for extensive wear and use. The headset fits equally well when worn in-the-ear or when used with the stylish over-the-ear loop.

Customer Rating: Summary: Not reliable and no support Comment: I bought two of these in August 2008. They worked quite well with my Treo 800w and a Sanyo phone. For some reason they do not work as well with my HTC Diamond. People keep complaining that I am cutting out and they have trouble hearing me. Now, three months after purchase, one of them will no longer charge using the Cardo wall charger that came with the unit or the USB charger. I registerd the product and for a week have been emaling support and calling Cardo attemtping to get help. I cannot get anyone to respond. So I'll be throwing the defective Cardo away after 3 months and looking for a headset that works. I will probably buy somwhere other than Amazon so that I can return the device if it stops working.
Customer Rating: Summary: Small but misses the mark Comment: The Cardo S-800 is the first attempt into the hands free Bluetooth headset realm. It is small and the buttons are simple to use and far enough apart that my big fat fingers don't press what they aren't supposed to. I work inside a U.S. airport and the sound volume is poor as the unit does not fully insert into my ear canal. When I push the Cardo S-800 into my ear a bit it is plenty loud enough. Messing with the "coat hanger" ear piece does nothing to help with volume. I emailed Cardo and they said there are no other ear buds/pieces for this unit. So the price was okay and the size is nice and compact but unless the thing sits in your ear properly or you can find other ear buds to help fit it properly the volume for me is quite low (yes even when I'm not at the airport) and I find myself holding the Cardo with my index finger into my ear. Even while driving the headset fitment is poor enough to cause me to have to switch to a corded headset or to again push the cardo into my ear to hear well enough. Geeze I just cringe at the thought of spending over a $100 for the Aliph(?) and just hope thast it's better.
Customer Rating: Summary: excellent earpiece Comment: I use my earpiece for about 3 hours a day. I talk with my spouse who drives for a living, and sometimes it is the only way we can communicate. I needed an earpiece that I could answer our second line easily without hanging up on my spouse. This fit the bill. It is easy to use, and is loud enough to be heard over my husbands truck on his end. I purchased 2 when my plantronics broke, to make life easy. We programmed both his phone and mine with both earpieces, and now it doesn't matter which one he grabs when he leaves. It works on both phones. No more confusion over the wrong earpiece! Sound quality is comparable to other bluetooth's we've tried, and fit is what you would expect from an earpiece. It is definitely worth the price amazon charges.
Customer Rating: Summary: Nice Size - USB Charging Not as Advertised Comment: Size of the headset is great, as is the bluetooth connectivity and sound quality. The only negative is the mini USB connector. It is not the same as the majority of other mini USB connectors (to my T-Mobile DASH for example). I have a DASH and a GPS receiver that share the same mini USB connector and assumed the S-800 was the same, it is not. If this is important to you, be sure you know or see what it looks like prior to purchase.
Customer Rating: Summary: SWAP technology and Multipoint tech Comment: Pros: light, small, eye catching, sound is loud and clear, comfortable
Cons: SWAP technology of Cardo S800 is not the same as Multipoint technology of plantronic voyager 510 which I also having: I am having two cell phones and I need
one headset to swich quickly between two phones automatically. With SWAP technology, I have to
press to disconnect to switch to other phone. When receiving phone call, I can not
remember which phone is connected to the headset, after trying and find out it is not
connect to the right cell phone, I press the button to switch then it is too late,
the call is already hang up.
The multipoint technology from plantronics is much better, it is automatically pick up the call from any of two cell phones when it rings. When I try to make phone call, it connects automatically to the right one as well. I gave 3 stars and have to return because it does'nt have the features needed for me.
