Comment: This item is very cheaply made. I haven't even had it a month and the casing on the plug just fell of. It still works but all the wires are showing, it only a matter of time before they come apart, them I won't be able to use it. I Would not recommend getting this product. I also contacted the site where I purchase it and they never responded as to a refund or exchange.

Summary: Works Fine
Comment: This adapter works fine in my Samsung SGH A707 phone. It is unfortunate that Samsung designed the phone so that the same jack is used for power/data/music rather than separate standard jacks for these purposes. An external power supply cannot be used while the headset is being used (and draining battery power).
This is a design flaw of the phone and does not reflect negatively on this adapter.
I would have liked a little more cable with the adapter.

Summary: Doesn't fit the A727
Comment: I bought this for a Samsung Slider, SGH-A727, and it's not compatible. The size and shape are almost right, but not quite close enough to actually fit into the phone. Of course now, looking more carefully, I see that they only promise that it will fit an SCH-A727, which doesn't seem to exist (since SCH are CDMA phones, and the A is for ATT, which uses the GSM models that start with SGH).
Maybe they thought that this was a clever loophole for people like me that just looked for Samsung A727. Regardless, I clearly don't recommend this product.
