With the Ski Trainer once they are comfortable turning you can leave the leashes at home and still have a valuable tool with the Grip 'n Guide handle. Comment: I really like the Lucky Bums Ski Trainer. We bought it to help teach my son how to ski. I am very pleased with this product. It is very easy to lift him into the ski lift, not to mention lifting him off the ground when he falls. The harness is a good length and helps us teach him how to turn as well as guide him down the hill.
