Summary: No fancy software needed. Just plug in and go!
Comment: I bought this from CCMAccessories for my Nokia 6085 (I love this phone!) for around $7 total including shipping. It came in the original (non-bulk) packaging and appears to be genuine Nokia. The cable works fine, and I've had it about two months. Sometimes these things stop working after a few months, but so far so good.
Plus, you do NOT need to download the free Nokia software suite to use this cable. Just plug it in and go. If you want the calendar/etc features, you need the software, but if you just need DATA TRANSFER and MUSIC, you can do it directly thru the cable without software. I highly recommend buying a Micro-SD card (at least 1GB) so that you have plenty of room for photos and songs. I bought a SanDisk micro card and it works fine; doesn't seem necessary to buy the hard-to-find Nokia MU-37 card.

Comment: I purchased this product to link my Nokia 6085 with my computer using Nokia's free PC suite software. The cable works great. I have had no connection issues between my phone and PC. The Amazon price was great compared to AT&T stores and web.

Summary: End Phone Management Frustration
Comment: This cable, along with Nokia's PC Suite, end the frustration of having to manage your phone from its keyboard. PC Suite is a free download and is very intuitive and easy-to-use. Finding the CA-53 Connectivity cable at virtually any brick-n-mortar cell phone store is nearly impossible. The combination of PC Suite and the CA-53A is great way to transfer data and manage contacts without going blind or crazy.

Summary: Good product, hard to connect
Comment: This cable works great and is high quality and a good price. However, it can be a little hard to connect to the phone. It seems hard to line up with the port. This is not a problem with the cable, but just the design of this connection. The little door over the port is also in the way and you must be careful not to break the cheap plastic cover. Again, this is not a problem with the cable but with the phone. If you need a USB cable, I recommend this one. Just be careful with your cover. You can also download free software from Nokia to manage and transfer files.
